AI coaching startup, Arivihan, secures $4.17 million in funding for its fully automated AI-driven tutoring services.

Arivihan, a groundbreaking edtech startup based in India, has recently secured $4.17 million in a pre-Series A funding round. The funding round was led by Prosus Ventures and Accel, with GSF Investors also participating.

Founded in 2024 by IIT Roorkee alumni Ritesh Singh Chandel, Sonu Kumar, and Math educator Rushabh Kothari, Arivihan has developed India's first fully automated AI tutoring platform for school students. The platform, which resolves around 700,000 student queries per month with an accuracy rate of 97%, delivers personalized coaching through interactive video lectures, instant doubt-solving, and AI-driven study plans.

The startup's primary focus is on students preparing for the State Board, CBSE, and NEET, with a primary focus on Class 12th learners from Tier 2+, Tier 3 cities, and rural regions. Arivihan has already sold 15,000 subscriptions in FY25, generating revenue of approximately $390,000.

With the new funds, Arivihan plans to expand into three additional states - Texas, Florida, and California. The expansion strategy includes scaling its proven go-to-market strategy and building localized distribution networks in new geographies. The startup will also enhance its on-ground marketing and distribution infrastructure and grow its academic team, onboarding experienced NEET faculty and hiring across product, marketing, and engineering functions.

Arivihan's AI-first approach aims to make education accessible and personalized for students regardless of their location or economic background. Dhruv Gupta, Investor at Prosus, believes Arivihan's AI-native learning platform has the potential to transform how millions of students learn and succeed. The startup will also use the funds for deeper research in natural language processing for Indian languages.

Prosus Ventures sees education as one of the most compelling frontiers for breakthrough applications of AI. The fresh funding will aid Arivihan in accelerating its mission of democratizing world-class education across Real Bharat. Arivihan aims to have a subscriber base of 80,000 to 100,000 this year.

The startup's focus remains on providing deep personalization with scalable impact, particularly for India's aspirational students. The expansion strategy also includes strategic hiring across key functions and leveraging digital marketing for deep market penetration.

Prior to the pre-Series A round, Arivihan had raised $750,000 from Accel's Atoms seed-stage program. With this latest funding, Arivihan is poised to make a significant impact in the education sector, transforming the way millions of students learn and succeed.
