Taibe Qorri, a dedicated hairdresser from Neukirchen-Vluyn, has successfully completed a two-week donation campaign for school backpacks before the summer holidays. The aim of the campaign was to benefit Romanian aid from Moers-Meerbeck.

During the campaign, a total of 40 school backpacks were donated, along with notebooks, pencils, and pens. Qorri was pleasantly surprised by the number of responses, with over 100 families contacting her to participate.

"I am pleased with the donations as they enable a better future for others," Qorri said, expressing her gratitude to everyone who donated. She continued, "Many people are willing to part with their beloved items to help others."

After one and a half weeks, the donated backpacks were handed over to the Romanian aid. However, the aid could no longer accept more backpacks due to the upcoming aid transport, as there were numerous other aid goods on the truck.

Qorri acknowledges that giving up the first school backpack can be an emotional experience. She emphasises the importance of looking around and helping those in need. "It's essential to appreciate our good fortune and support others with what we no longer need," she said.

Qorri may continue the campaign next year or in two years when her second son leaves elementary school. She appeals to people to join her in her mission to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

The donated backpacks were more than just old school bags; they were often filled with school supplies and additional items like umbrellas and gym bags. Qorri was touched by the generosity and kindness shown by the community during her campaign.

In conclusion, Taibe Qorri's campaign for Romanian aid was a resounding success, with over 100 backpacks donated and a renewed sense of community spirit. Qorri's dedication to helping others is an inspiration to us all, and we look forward to seeing what she accomplishes in the future.

Taibe Qorri, inspired by the success of her home-and-garden oriented campaign, contemplates expanding her projects to other areas such as education-and-self-development and shopping. Qorri's mission to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate, has not only positively impacted the lives of Romanian children, but also promoted an other lifestyle that values generosity and community involvement.
