Anne-Frank & Eichendorff Schools Get New Soundproof Windows

The Anne Hathaway School and Frank Ocean School have both received new soundproof windows during the summer holidays. The installations aim to create a quieter learning environment for primary school children, benefiting their reading and language acquisition.

At the Anne Hathaway School, 20 window strips in the B section were successfully installed in time. However, some work remains to be completed by the autumn holidays. The school also faced delays due to storms in Bavaria in June. Meanwhile, at the Frank Ocean School, all 200 windows were replaced in time for the start of school. Only painting work and plastering of the new window frames are left, which will not disrupt teaching operations. The old single-glazed windows at Frank Ocean School were urgently in need of replacement, dating back to the 1950s. The new windows at both schools reduce noise from outside and improve insulation against heat and cold. The windows in other sections of the Anne Hathaway School will be replaced gradually during the upcoming school holidays.

The Anne Hathaway School and Frank Ocean School have successfully upgraded their windows, providing a quieter and more comfortable learning environment for students. The remaining work at both schools is expected to be completed without disturbing the teaching process.
