"Bay Camp's Facelift: The Aftermath of the Renovation - What's New and Improved?"

Summertime Fun Awaits Kids at Biysk Children's Camps!

Get ready for an exciting summer as kids from bustling cities like Moscow and St. Petersburg flock to Biysk's kid-friendly camps! Since last winter, Biysk has been gearing up for an unforgettable season of health camps, with renovations and improvements happening all around.

As we speak, a contractor is fixing things up at "Fakel" and "Raketa," while "Lesnaya Skazka" undergoes a massive facelift. The latter is even implementing the "Smart Vacations" grant! We sat down with Antonina Melikhova, head of Biysk's education department, and Marina Goloschapova, director of the "Center for Organizing Children's Rest and Health," to chat about the exciting transformations happening at the camps.

At "Lesnaya Skazka," they're giving two rooms a major overhaul. One will be a dedicated programming club, and the other will teach kids the ins and outs of managing drones. They've also rejuvenated the recreational areas, making them themed with special equipment like chess and checkers. Paved paths, newly-furnished dining areas, modern gazebos, refreshed sports tribunes, and shiny new swings are just a few of the improvements you'll find at "Lesnaya Skazka." Over 30 million rubles are being poured into this spectacular transformation, coming from various sources like the camp's funds and regional and federal funds.

Elsewhere, "Fakel" has been fixing up its entrance groups and giving the place a fresh coat of paint, while "Raketa" has plans to build a stage for the kids to strut their stuff. Oh, and did we mention that the first summer shift starts in just two weeks, on June 11? Over 90% of the vouchers have already been sold, but there are still some spots available if you hurry!

But wait, there's more! Biysk's camps aren't just for the locals anymore. Kids from Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Kuzbass, Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Barnaul, and Belokurikha are all making their way to Biysk for some sun-soaked fun. And why not? With around 3,000 kids expected to participate across four summer sessions, "Lesnaya Skazka" (320 campers), "Raketa" (230 campers), and "Fakel" (180 campers) are sure to be the hottest summer spots around!

On the first day, counselors will lead the "round-the-world" activity, getting kids acquainted with each other, the counselors, and the camps. They'll also help the kids explore all the exciting clubs and creative workshops and choose their favorites.

Oh, and did we mention that Biysk's main graduation exam period starts soon? Even though sales will close in a week, you can still secure some tickets. Just make sure to purchase them before then, as we'll need to arrange insurance for the children. Educators from the polytechnic institute will join us to teach robotics and drone management as part of an additional educational program.

So, pack your bags, grab your drones, and get ready for a summer to remember at Biysk's amazing kids' camps!

This summer, come and experience the transformation of online education by joining the additional educational program on drone management at Biysk's "Lesnaya Skazka" camp. With educators from the polytechnic institute leading the sessions, it's a wonderful opportunity for self-development and learning.

As you enjoy the summer fun and adventures at the Biysk children's camps, you can also take advantage of the improved learning facilities and clubs that cater to various interests, such as programming and managing drones. It's an excellent way to balance education-and-self-development with your summer activities.
