Chandigarh University Expands Offerings with 11 New Specialized Programs for 2025-26

Chandigarh University, a NAAC A+ Grade and QS World Ranked institution located near Chandigarh, Punjab, is set to offer 11 new specialized programs for the academic year 2025-26. These programs are designed to equip students with practical, future-ready skills, developed in collaboration with industry partners.

The new programs span various fields, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Capital Markets, Global Business Management, Media and Entertainment Management, and Strategic Human Resource.

Artificial Intelligence and Data Science programs will focus on practical, real-world projects and the latest AI/ML technologies. The curriculum is designed to move beyond theory, emphasizing hands-on learning and industry relevance to prepare students for emerging tech careers.

Capital Markets and Global Business Management courses are designed in alignment with financial industry expectations and international business practices. These programs are likely to involve collaborations with market and business experts to provide exposure to global markets.

Chandigarh University is also expanding its offerings in the humanities, with a PG program in MA in Economics and a UG program in BA (Hons.) in Social Work. The M.A. in Economics offers specializations in Economic Analytics, Public Policy and Governance, and Financial Economics.

The university is also offering a Bachelor of Arts (Hons./Hons. with Research) in Social Work to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundations required to address social challenges and drive meaningful change. Chandigarh University is also set to launch India’s first AI-Augmented Multidisciplinary University campus at Uttar Pradesh with 43 undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various streams starting 2025-26.
