City Council Approves Green Kindergarten on Germaniastraße
The city council has approved the construction of a new kindergarten on Germaniastraße. BauTeam Lang GmbH & Co. KG will manage and finance the project, which is set to be completed before the planned sports hall. The kindergarten will be a two-story building with a green roof and photovoltaic system, and will accommodate 85 children.
The kindergarten site is approximately 18 by 25 meters, with a planned playground of about 1,000 square meters. The building will have 15 places for children under three years and 70 places for children over three years, accommodating four groups in total. The kindergarten will be heated by remote heating, and the estimated project costs are around 4.35 million euros.
The new kindergarten on Germaniastraße is expected to provide much-needed childcare facilities for the local community. The building's green roof and photovoltaic system will also contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency.
