JKM-Elektroanlagen GmbH Expands with New Investment in Templin

JKM-Elektroanlagen GmbH, a company based in Templin, is set to make a significant expansion with its latest major investment, dubbed "JKM Campus Templin." This move comes as the company celebrates its 35th anniversary and looks towards a bright future.

The company, which emerged from the electrical department of the former VEB (K) Bau Templin, was founded in 2009 by Heinz Junker, Uwe Krüger, and Klaus Meth as partners with just three employees. Timo Junker, who joined the company in 2010, has played a pivotal role in its growth, acquiring Uwe Krüger's shares in 2012 and becoming the managing owner in 2016, following Heinz Junker's passing in 2016.

Currently, 14 employees, including three apprentices, work at JKM-Elektroanlagen GmbH. Timo Junker, who learned the profession of electrician at Elektro Albert Milmersdorf and became a master electrician in 2009, has been instrumental in the company's commitment to apprentice training. His dedication to this cause was recognised with an honorary certificate from the Chamber of Crafts.

JKM-Elektroanlagen GmbH offers planning, construction, and maintenance of electrical installations for companies and private clients within a 50-kilometer radius of Templin. The company's current projects include work on the former 'Mühlenseeperl' and the construction site of the 'Old Brewery.' Notable references include renovation works for the housing cooperative Templin, the new construction of the Active Nature School Templin, and the Ahorn Seehotel.

In addition to these projects, the company has received maintenance orders for street lighting in Templin and some villages, as well as for the 'Waldhof,' kindergartens, and schools. The company's hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed, with Timo Junker involved in various committees of the craft industry for many years, including as chairman of the examination committee, the committee for cross-company training, and apprentice supervisor.

The latest investment, worth around 85,000 euros, will see the construction of a covered storage area on the company's premises in the Süd industrial park. This expansion is expected to further bolster the company's capabilities and position it for continued success in the future.

With a strong foundation, dedicated team, and a commitment to quality, JKM-Elektroanlagen GmbH is well-positioned to continue making a positive impact in Templin and the surrounding area.
