Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University (NGLU) has announced its admission campaign for the year 2025, with Acting Rector Nikita Avralev making the announcement at a press conference.

Among the high-demand educational programs at NGLU are "Translation and Translation Studies", and the program with two profiles "English Language and Psychology". The university is also recognized for its strength in foreign languages, being a linguistic university, and it continues to develop new educational offerings supporting pedagogy and related social sciences.
One of the new programs introduced this year is a bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a focus on Personality Psychology. This expansion of pedagogical approaches involves understanding student personality and development, aligning with modern trends in educational programs emphasizing holistic teaching methods. Additionally, NGLU is introducing a new program: "Classical Psychology".
In line with its reputation for high admission standards, NGLU offers opportunities in fields like tourism, reflecting a broad pedagogical and language education portfolio. The university has also implemented a separate quota admitting one participant from the SVO and 18 children of SVO participants.
A total of 299 people have been admitted to various forms of study (full-time, part-time, distance) at NGLU for bachelor's and specialist's degrees. The passing scores for the "Pedagogical Education" direction at NGLU may vary depending on the number of places in each profile.
