Entrepreneurial students get a hands-on experience with regional start-ups through temporary retail outlets.

The city of Bremerhaven is set to host a week-long event named Future.Bremerhaven from August 11 to August 17, 2025. Organized by students from the University of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven's Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Leadership program, the event takes place at the Columbus Centre (Obere Bürger 71, next to the glass bridge to the Havenwelten).

The main focus of Future.Bremerhaven is to highlight and promote regional startups. Each day, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, a pop-up store will showcase these startups, allowing visitors to learn about their products and services firsthand. The week is not just about business, though. It also includes a variety of additional events such as yoga sessions, workshops on life design, and live podcasts, designed to inspire and engage attendees.

For those interested in shaping Bremerhaven's economy, the Founders Brunch on August 15 from 10:00 AM is an event not to be missed. Details about the Hackathon on August 16 from 12:00 PM are scarce, but it promises to be a competition where participants can develop solutions for regional challenges.

The Future.Bremerhaven event is made possible by the Springtide Bremerhaven initiative, STAWOG, BIS - Bremerhaven Investment and Urban Development Promotion Company mbH, ttz Bremerhaven, and Volksbank Elbe-Weser Triangle Bank Days.
