The Canada Strong Pass, a new initiative aimed at promoting cultural exploration, has been making waves this summer. Launched on June 20, the pass offers discounted rates for provincial and territorial museums and galleries, and it now includes over 86 participating establishments across Canada.

In Alberta, visitors can now enjoy discounted admission to popular attractions such as the Royal Alberta Museum in Edmonton, the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, and the Oil Sands Discovery Centre in Fort McMurray, among others. New Brunswick's Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton and the Kings Landing Historical Settlement in Prince William are also part of the Canada Strong Pass.

Ontario's rich cultural landscape is well-represented with the inclusion of the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, and the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg. Newfoundland and Labrador's The Rooms in St. John's, the Beothuk Interpretation Centre in Boyd's Cove, and the Cape Bonavista Lighthouse in Bonavista are just a few of the attractions now available under the Canada Strong Pass.

Manitoba's Manitoba Museum in Winnipeg and the Winnipeg Art Gallery-Qaumajuq have also joined the list, while Saskatchewan's Western Development Museum locations in Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Saskatoon, and Yorkton are now part of the pass. The Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre in Whitehorse is the latest addition in the Yukon.

Nova Scotia boasts a diverse range of participating museums and galleries, including the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia in Halifax, the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, and the Museum of Natural History. The Royal BC Museum in Victoria is the latest addition to the Canada Strong Pass in British Columbia.

The Canada Strong Pass is valid until September 2, 2025, and is available to all guests, including international travellers. No registration or physical pass is required—simply show up at participating establishments to enjoy the discounted rates. Children aged 17 and under enjoy free admission, while youth aged 18-24 receive a 50% discount.

While no specific information about additional provincial and territorial museums and galleries was found in the July 17 announcement, the Canada Strong Pass continues to grow, offering an exciting opportunity for cultural exploration across Canada.
