Expanded curriculum unveiled at Munich Adult Education Centre (Munich Volkshochschule)
Mark your calendars! On February 1st, the highly anticipated spring/summer course offerings for the Munich Adult Education Center (MVHS) will be unveiled online. After this date, registration for a dynamic array of classes will open to the public. Situated in the heart of Munich, the MVHS is a significant educational institution, renowned as one of the largest Volkshochschulen in Germany. With a mission to foster lifelong learning for all citizens, regardless of age, origin, or background, the MVHS prides itself on its diverse offerings.
A Rainbow of Courses
The MVHS provides a cornucopia of courses, catering to various interests and skills. From learning exotic languages like Icelandic and Arabic to honing professional development skills, political lectures, and socio-cultural discussions, there is something for everyone. Additionally, the center offers health and movement classes including yoga, Pilates, and more, creative pursuits like painting, photography, and theater, and scientific topics like astronomy and environmental education. The MVHS also boasts unique classes, such as baking courses for the hearing-impaired and specialized training for butchers, showcasing the broadness of its curriculum.
A sneak peek at the upcoming course list reveals that about two-thirds of the courses from the previous semester will carry over, with the remaining one-third representing enticing new additions.
