Focus on sustainable nourishment takes stage

The Environmental Education Center Landshut, in partnership with BioCity Landshut and the EcoModel Region, is hosting a unique course aimed at strengthening awareness of sustainable and environmentally friendly nutrition. This course, designed for classes from grades six to nine of all school types, will take place over two teaching units.

Thomas Weiland, the teacher operating the course, will guide participants through practical elements, helping them gain a solid understanding of the term "bio" and insights into the production and unique features of bio-food. The course also imparts the health and ecological benefits of sustainable nutrition, encouraging young people to reflect on their eating habits and recognize the impacts on ecological connections.

The city of Landshut, a member of the BioCity Network, is offering financial support for the first five registrations from within its city limits. Each participant will pay only one euro for the course, making it an affordable and accessible learning opportunity.
