Foundation Gameskraft unveils the second phase of "Behind the Primitive" initiative

The "Mere Kadmon Ke Peeche" campaign by the Gameskraft Foundation is an initiative designed to support and empower para-athletes in India. This campaign aims to raise awareness about the challenges faced by para-athletes, promote inclusivity in sports, and provide resources and opportunities to help these athletes train and compete at higher levels.

The Gameskraft Foundation, a social arm of a leading Indian company offering skill-based online games, has unveiled the second leg of this campaign. Through this campaign, Gameskraft Foundation aims to create a more supportive environment that recognizes the talents and determination of para-athletes, encouraging society to back their journeys and achievements.

The campaign is a collaboration with the GoSports Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing Indian sporting excellence. The GoSports Foundation supports over 200 athletes who aspire to represent India on the global stage, including those in Para Athletics, Para Swimming, Para Taekwondo, Para Archery, and Para Badminton. The shared vision of the two foundations is to empower para-athletes on their sporting journey and beyond, aiming to create a more inclusive sporting landscape.

The GoSports Foundation's programmes have supported over 24 Olympians, 35 Paralympians, and 16 Paralympic medallists. The athletes under the Foundation's 'Para Champions Programme' are managed by athlete managers who are dedicated to addressing their smallest needs. The programme's commitment is to ensure maximum participation in major sporting events, such as the Para National Championships, World Championships, Asian Para Games 2026, Commonwealth Games 2026, and Paralympics 2028.

Recently, athletes supported under the GoSports Foundation's programme won five medals at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. Deepthi Bopaiah, CEO of GoSports Foundation, expressed her delight about the campaign shedding light on the unsung heroes who play a critical role in the success of athletes. Rishi Wadhera, Head of Corporate Communications and CSR at Gameskraft, stated that the campaign celebrates the achievements of para-athletes and their support team.

The campaign film is released on Gameskraft's Instagram account and LinkedIn account. The film pays tribute to the essential network of supporters behind these athletes, including coaches, physiotherapists, nutritionists, sports scientists, family, and friends.

In addition to his involvement with the Gameskraft Foundation, Roy D'Silva, a published author with a decade-long experience in various beats, including Bollywood, OTT, and now poker, is also an avid cyclist. He is looking to be right, front, and center of that one big story in the poker world.

Gameskraft Foundation engages with communities at a grassroots level to transform lives and create a positive impact. Their current campaign, the second leg of the "Mere Kadmon Ke Peeche," continues their partnership as an associate partner for the 'Para Champions Programme' with the GoSports Foundation. By supporting para-athletes and promoting inclusivity in sports, both foundations are making significant strides in shaping the future of Indian sports.

  1. The Gameskraft Foundation is involved not only in supporting para-athletes but also in promoting personal growth and career development, as evidenced by their offering of skill-based online games.
  2. The shared vision of Gameskraft Foundation and GoSports Foundation extends beyond sports, aiming to empower athletes in their overall education-and-self-development journeys.
  3. Despite their focus on sports, the GoSports Foundation's support extends to celebrities in sectors beyond sports, such as Roy D'Silva, a published author with a decade-long experience in Bollywood, OTT, and now poker.
  4. Interestingly, an avid cyclist like Roy D'Silva also has a keen interest in sports-betting, showcasing diverse interests within the community of sports enthusiasts.
  5. The campaign film released by Gameskraft highlights the broader support system beyond para-athletes, including coaches, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and sports scientists, emphasizing the importance of skills-training in sports.
  6. The GoSports Foundation's comprehensive support for athletes includes their 'Para Champions Programme', ensuring maximum participation in major sporting events like golf, basketball, racing, tennis, mixed-martial-arts, and even job-search assistance for athletes transitioning into their post-sports careers.
  7. The campaign's ultimate goal extends beyond sports, aiming to integrate para-athletes into the mainstream and actively engage in sports-analysis, fostering a more inclusive sporting landscape.
