Graduates of the July-August 2022 Career Program Announced

C.S. Lewis once said, "There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind." This sentiment was echoed as TCAT Dickson held a graduation ceremony last week to celebrate the achievements of its students.

Among the graduates were Ekaterina Isaac, who earned a Fine Arts Certificate, and Danielle Ford, Jeanne Gonzalez, Melissa Antonowich, and Sadie Rabago, who each received the Digital Arts Professional Certificate. Berlyn Holman and Hunter Richling completed the Graphic Design Professional Certificate programme, while Ying Liu earned the Multimedia Arts Professional Certificate. Jerald Troutman and Katerina Tsantili completed the Graphic Design Advanced Certificate programme.

The graduates were congratulated for their hard work and dedication, and were wished success in their creative careers.

To be admitted to TCAT Dickson’s Vocational Certificate Career Programs, applicants must meet certain criteria. These include being at least 18 years old or having a high school diploma (or equivalent), completing the online application available on the institution’s website starting mid-March 2025, and submitting required documents such as the DOT physical, DOT learner permit, Tennessee driver license, Motor Vehicle Report, and drug test by specific deadlines. Each vocational program may have additional specific prerequisites, such as the Truck Driving program requiring U.S. citizenship, a valid driver’s license, a passed Department of Transportation physical exam, obtaining a DOT Learner Permit, submitting a Ten-Year Motor Vehicle Report and a drug screen, passing the DMV check and drug test before class start, and meeting these requirements before receiving a start date.

Applicants are also encouraged to apply for financial aid via FAFSA. Educational and admission requirements can vary widely between programs, so applicants should review the specific criteria for their chosen program.

As the graduates embark on their new careers, they can take comfort in the knowledge that they have the skills and qualifications needed to succeed. TCAT Dickson is proud to have played a part in their journey, and looks forward to seeing what they will accomplish in the future.

Berlyn Holman and Hunter Richling, after completing the Graphic Design Professional Certificate programme, can utilize their skills for career development in the field of graphic design. Meanwhile, Jerald Troutman and Katerina Tsantili, who completed the Graphic Design Advanced Certificate programme, are now equipped to advance their careers in graphic design and education-and-self-development.
