Grants for fundraising in Africa are set to cease accepting applications
The New Africa Fund has announced the Africa Impact Fundraising Grant 2025, an initiative aimed at strengthening the fundraising capacity of African NGOs, community-based organisations, and social enterprises. The grant programme offers a week-long online training focused on small-donor campaigns, followed by a 30-day fundraising challenge with matching funds for top performers.
The application process for the Africa Impact Fundraising Grant is now open online. Eligible organisations can apply until the end of July 31, 2025, at 8:00 PM UTC. Once selected, participants will undergo an online training course, focusing on all aspects of sustainable fundraising, including financial management, marketing, communications, grant writing, and donor outreach.
Following the online training, organisations will engage in a 30-day fundraising challenge. Top performers will be eligible for matching funds of up to US$5,000. The top-performing organisations will also be invited to Kigali, Rwanda, for a week-long intensive training residency, focusing on sustainable fundraising.
Up to 10 high-performing organisations will be selected for the training residency, which covers costs for travel, accommodation, and meals. This residency will provide organisations with an opportunity to network, learn from experts, and refine their fundraising strategies.
In addition to the training and fundraising challenge, all selected organisations will receive 12 months of free fiscal sponsorship from the New Africa Fund. This sponsorship will provide organisations with access to critical funding and help them navigate the complexities of fundraising.
The Africa Impact Fundraising Grant is designed to help African solutions by building fundraising capacity and supporting organisations in their efforts to raise funds effectively. To be eligible for the grant, applicants must be legally registered in an African Union member state and provide registration documents, organisational charts, audited financial statements, or recent financial documents as part of the application process.
The Africa Impact Fundraising Grant is an exciting opportunity for African organisations to improve their fundraising capacity, access critical funding, and make a lasting impact in their communities. Don't miss out on this chance – apply now for the Africa Impact Fundraising Grant 2025!
