"In the run-up to the 80th Anniversary of the Great Victory, Pavlo Kabannov, head of Post No. 1, becomes the hero of our section. Every year, Post No. 1 ensures duty at the Monument to Martial and Labor Glory of Tomich in the Lager Garden. Pavlo began his service in 2001, as a schoolboy. He realized the gravity, importance, and solemnity of his task then. Now, he prepares the honor guard for every Victory Day." - wrote Mazur.
He further mentioned that currently, Post No. 1 has over 150 young Tomskians participating. These senior students are not just learning drills, but also mastering military training fundamentals, studying the history of their homeland and the Russian military, and participating in various seasonal projects, including summer camps, with over a thousand Tomsk schoolchildren taking part.
Recently, an archaeologist from Tomsk State University (TGU) was also included in the "Best Million of Tomsk Region." Details about the archaeologist's achievements are not specified, but the project generally honors individuals who contribute significantly to their community in various sectors such as agriculture, medicine, education, and more.
