Hesse Minister Pentz Strengthens Ties in South Korea
Manfred Pentz, Hesse's Minister for International Affairs, has embarked on a multi-day working visit to South Korea. The trip aims to strengthen political and economic ties with one of Asia's leading innovation hubs.
Pentz kicked off his visit by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Kim Tae Heum, the governor of Chungnam province. This builds on a similar agreement signed last year, further deepening economic, cultural, and scientific relations between Hesse and Chungnam.
The minister's itinerary includes meetings with high-ranking officials and visits to companies such as Samsung and Hyundai. Pentz is eager to foster new cooperation with Korean businesses in Hesse, particularly in the realm of digital traffic management. He also plans to engage with representatives of the Korean film industry during his stay.
Accompanying Pentz is a delegation comprising business representatives, chambers of industry and commerce, and regional economic development agencies. Together, they hope to intensify political and economic cooperation between Hesse and South Korea.
Minister Manfred Pentz's visit to South Korea underscores Hesse's commitment to forging closer ties with innovative societies. By strengthening existing partnerships and exploring new opportunities, Pentz aims to bring mutual benefits to both regions.
