The dual study program, in partnership with various universities, offers a unique chance to combine academic study and vocational training. This three-year program results in an internationally recognized Bachelor's degree.
To be eligible, you must have a Fachhochschulreife or equivalent school leaving certificate. The program consists of alternating theoretical phases at university and practical phases at Sparkasse. The practical part of the studies takes place at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg in Mosbach.
The program provides deep insights into the financial world and the handling of banking transactions. Trainees will get to know their fellow trainees and many colleagues during the first few weeks. The remuneration for the program is attractive and according to the collective agreement. As of 01.04.2025, the gross salary for the first year is 1,343.20 Euro, and for the second year, it is 1,389.02 Euro. In the third year, the gross salary increases to 1,452.59 Euro.
A bonus of 400.00 EUR is given upon successful completion of the final exam in the third year, and a year-end bonus is given in the third year. In addition, trainees receive 30 days of vacation during the third year, and a subsidy for public transportation is available during this period.
Regular trainee events are held during the third year, and the practical part of the studies is varied and challenging. What makes the program unique is that the knowledge gained in lectures can be applied directly at the Sparkasse, combining academic knowledge with practical experience.
