Honors Roll Call for April 2020 Academics

In a ceremony celebrating academic excellence, several students from the Graphic Design Institute were honored for their outstanding achievements in various programmes.

Bethany Hemesath, Kylie Welsh, and Hannah Wessel were among the recipients on the President's List for their academic success in the Associate of Science program for Graphic Design. Not to be outshone, Katherine Orizal and Julie Satele received recognition for their academic achievements in the Associate of Science program for Illustration.

In addition, Kristy Nilsson earned Honor Roll with Distinction in the Undergraduate Certificate program for Graphic Design, while Nico Hicks achieved the same distinction in the Associate of Science program for Illustration. Bethany Robbins also earned Honor Roll with Distinction in the Associate of Science program for Graphic Design.

Michelle Buck, on the other hand, was honored for her academic accomplishments in the Associate of Science program for Advertising Design.

The Academic Excellence program at the Graphic Design Institute recognises students who achieve the highest academic marks in Associate Degree and Undergraduate Certificate programs. This program has three levels of recognition: Honor Roll, Honor Roll with Distinction, and a President's List.

Students who earn these honors will receive an official letter of recognition and a resume honor.

Dr. Meryl P. Epstein, Director of Education at the institute, congratulated students on their achievements. She encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their academic and professional pursuits.

The Winter 2020 Honor Roll list includes: Bethany Hemesath (AOS in Graphic Design), Daniel Sampson (AOS in Illustration), Dannielle James (AOS in Digital Photography), Darryl Buning (UC in Digital Photography), Derek Nimrichter (UC in Print Design), Hannah Wessel (AOS in Graphic Design), James Warren (AOS in Digital Photography), Julie Satele (AOS in Digital Photography), Kate Somes (UC in Illustration), Katherine Orizal (AOS in Illustration), Kimberly Colas (UC in Graphic Design), Kylie Welsh (AOS in Graphic Design), Michelle Buck (AOS in Advertising Design), Sandra Baker (UC in Digital Photography), and Scott Miksich (AOS in Digital Media).
