Dishing Out Opportunities

Here's some juicy news for certain groups of citizens regarding job opportunities. The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has spilled the beans about it.

Government Decree No.312, dated June 9, 2025, is the catch of the day, introducing modifications to employment programs.

Youth, unemployed folks, and ambitious entrepreneurs can expect a smorgasbord of employment opportunities, including learning to drive for zilch. That's right, any organization, regardless of its stripes, can now employ young cats for temp gigs with a helping hand from the state. And guess what? The time it takes to clear an employer's paperwork has come down from 21 to 10 working days.

As for the jobless, a subsidy of Br5k to Br9.2k (that's 11-20 BPM for you noobs) is up for grabs for registering as an individual entrepreneur, or for agro-ecotourism, craftsmanship, or freelance ventures. The application review period has also been slashed to 10 days, and if your biz stays afloat for 9 months, there's no need to return that sweet subsidy.

More organizations can now hire the unemployed for temp jobs with state support, with the state covering wages and transportation costs.

The cherry on top? Free driving lessons, even for agricultural machinery types. This, believes the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, will create a hankering among the unemployed for jobs, especially in agricultural organizations, and help employers tackle staff shortages.

And here's a pro tip: If distance learning is your thing, and you need to attend training in another city, there's no need to worry about dorm and rent fees.

Time to dust off those job applications, folks!

In the realm of personal-finance and education-and-self-development, the government's job opportunities program offers free driving lessons, fostering a desire for employment, especially in agricultural organizations, and alleviating staff shortages. For those considering distance learning, accommodations costs, such as dorm and rent fees, are no longer a worry.
