Inclusive Job Fair a Huge Success, Attracts 300+ Visitors and 25 Companies

The first-ever Inclusive Job Fair in the region was a resounding success, attracting over 300 visitors and around 25 companies. The event, held at the Citizens' Hall, aimed to promote inclusive employment and break down barriers in the job market. It was patronized by prominent figures including Landrat Peter Dreier and Oberbürgermeister Alexander Putz.

The fair was organized by Disability Commissioners Carolin Voelkner and Linda Pilz, with support from the Round Table Inclusion in the Workplace. It was encouraging to see the hall filled with authorities, small and medium enterprises, large companies, social institutions, and educational providers, all engaging with job seekers.

Holger Kiesel, Disability Commissioner of the Bavarian State Government, and Karl-Heinz Arians, Ministerial Director, addressed the visitors. They emphasized the importance of considering job applicants with disabilities based on their skills and qualifications. Landrat Peter Dreier echoed this sentiment, stressing the significance of personal encounters and firm determination in achieving inclusion.

The premiere of the Inclusive Job Fair was a significant step towards promoting inclusive employment in the region. With around 25 companies and over 300 visitors, the event demonstrated a strong commitment to creating a more inclusive job market. The success of the fair bodes well for future initiatives aimed at breaking down barriers and fostering equal opportunities for all.
