However, Johnson perceives a silver lining in this discrepancy. "We had to get much more creative and much more capital efficient," she reflects, highlighting how the limitations forced Sylvatex to become more resourceful and strategic with its finances. Yet, she highlights that her personal struggles have been much more intense. The passing of her father, who was her inspiration and the driving force behind her dedication to eco-friendly energy, was a deeply emotional ordeal.
She managed to surmount the difficulties of being a high-performing dyslexic by relying on memory and pattern recognition, years before she was formally diagnosed.
One of her most daunting trials was dealing with a brain tumor during her postgraduate studies, which necessitated two surgeries. "During my time in grad school, I unexpectedly discovered I had a brain tumor," Klausmeier disclosed. "It altered the course of my life. I opted against pursuing medicine and instead sought a stable job with excellent health benefits, focusing on taking care of myself."
