Janusz Korczak Foundation Awards Scholarships to HfK Bremen Finalists
The Janusz Korczak Foundation Bremen (JKSB) has announced the recipients of its annual Korczak Scholarships for students at the University of the Arts Bremen (HfK). The eight winners, selected from around 60 applicants, will each receive up to 800 euros per month for their final semester.
The scholarship recipients are Xinyue Feng, Kira Ronja Häring, Yan Xing Lee, Nikolas Divall Archer Rejto, Leon Sahiti, Polet Silva Lorca, Abdulghaffar Tammaa, and Charlotte Uekermann. The scholarship supports these final semester students, allowing them to focus more on their artistic final projects and practice-oriented semesters. The JKSB aims to promote self-determination and equal opportunities among young people and young adults in their professional and educational development.
The next application period for the Korczak Scholarships at HfK Bremen begins in April 2026. The foundation encourages all eligible students to apply, with the selection process focusing on social aspects and commitment.
The Korczak Scholarship, established in 2023, continues to support HfK students in their final phase of studies. The eight recipients of summer 2025 are expected to make the most of this financial support, dedicating more time to their artistic pursuits and practice-oriented semesters.
