Job Openings Announcement in Galchhi Rural Municipality for the SaMi Program in 2082

Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates seeking to apply for the Psychosocial Counselor role must have a minimum of Grade 8 passed and at least 1 year of work experience in foreign employment, preferably in Gulf countries or Malaysia. A Health Assistant or Staff Nurse degree, a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or Health Education, or a Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling are all acceptable qualifications for this position.
However, the minimum academic qualification for those working as Psychosocial Counselors under the SaMi Program is a Proficiency Certificate Level (10+2 or equivalent). Candidates must have completed six months of psychosocial counseling training from the National Health Training Center (NHTC) and be certified and listed in the training management system of NHTC.
For the Returnee Volunteer roles, candidates who have worked in the field of safe foreign employment are given preference. Special priority will be given to candidates from marginalized communities such as women, Dalits, Janajatis, Madhesis, and minority groups.
Application Details
Interested candidates are required to submit a handwritten application to the office of Galchhi Rural Municipality. The application should include a copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate, copies of experience certificates, names and contact numbers of at least two referees, copies of academic qualification certificates, one recent passport-size photograph, and a clear mention of the position being applied for.
The deadline for submitting applications is by office hours on 2082/05/31. If the deadline falls on a public holiday, applications will be accepted the following working day.
The selection process for most positions includes a written examination, practical test, and interview. For Returnee Volunteers, only interviews will be conducted.
