Kamchatka Launches 'Digital Literacy' Initiative for Kids

A nationwide initiative, 'Digital Literacy', has kicked off in Kamchatka. This project, organized by the Ministry of Digital Development, Ministry of Education and Science, and ANO 'Digital Economy', aims to make learning about digital skills engaging and beneficial for children. It focuses on equipping young minds with crucial life skills.

The project, running until February 2, offers a wealth of learning materials on the platform digital-literacy.ru. These include videos and interactive tasks, making learning about digital security and literacy an enjoyable experience for schoolchildren in Kamchatka. The lessons cover a broad range of topics, from safe internet use to online shopping and finding part-time jobs.

The learning materials have been developed in collaboration with leading IT companies such as Avito and Kaspersky Lab. This ensures that the content is not only engaging but also relevant and up-to-date. Moreover, these materials are tailored for children as young as six years old, making digital education accessible to a wide age group.

The 'Digital Literacy' project in Kamchatka is set to empower young learners with essential digital skills. By providing engaging learning materials and collaborating with leading IT companies, the project ensures that children develop a strong foundation in digital literacy and safety.
