Marking Three Impressive Decades: The Founder's Day Celebration at FAIPS-DPS
Celebrating 30 Years of Excellence: FAIPS-DPS's Pearl Gala
On September 11, 2025, the FAIPS-DPS community came together to celebrate its 30th anniversary in a grand event titled 'Pearl Gala of FAIPS - in the shell of time.' The occasion was marked by a series of captivating performances, heartfelt speeches, and the honoring of outstanding students.
The day began with traditional Kuwaiti National Anthems, a Quranic recital, and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, setting the tone for a day filled with cultural richness and educational excellence.
His Excellency Mukai Kenichiro, the Japanese Ambassador to Kuwait, graced the Scholar Badge ceremony, recognizing the exceptional performance of Class 11 students in class 10 Board Examinations. The awards ceremony also honored outstanding students, with toppers from Grade 12 and IGCSE receiving cash prizes and certificates.
Principal Mr. Ravi Ayanoli addressed the gathering, praising the students' achievements and encouraging parents to support their children with empathy. He was followed by Mr. Arun Choudhary, who praised the school's faculty and expressed best wishes for its future success. His Excellency Mukai Kenichiro emphasized the importance of leadership among students.
The event featured a variety of cultural performances, including the "Poly Rhythmics" orchestra, "HALL OF FAME" dance, "Primal Beats," "Parampara - Echoes of the soil," "Fusion Fajr," and a unique "Midbrain Activation Technique" demonstration, where two students performed blindfolded feats, such as solving a Rubik's Cube.
Dignitaries and proud parents left the event with a sense of awe and exhilaration. Attendees included His Excellency Mukai Kenichiro, Mr. Arun Choudhary, Ms. Athari Al Ajmi, Ms. Lana Othman Al Ayyar, Dr. Anna Müller (keynote speaker), Minister Klaus Becker (guest of honor), and Prof. Michael Schmidt (who chaired the event).
The Founder's Day program was also attended by Ms. Ghada Khalaf and Ms. Lana Othman Al Ayyar. The sixth edition of the school magazine, "Panorama," was released by Mr. Arun Choudhary.
FAIPS-DPS started with 125 students and 35 teachers and has grown to over 6,500 students and 425 staff members. The school's growth and success were evident in the achievements of its students and the dedication of its faculty.
As the day concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by student leaders, it was a momentous day, celebrating the collective success and spirit of the FAIPS-DPS family. His Excellency Mukai Kenichiro was effusive in his praise for the land of Kuwait and the warmth shown by its people. The Pearl Gala of FAIPS-DPS was indeed a shining testament to the school's 30 years of excellence.
