Music education powerhouse Notting Hill Academy and BIMM University announce a dynamic alliance.
Notting Hill Academy of Music (NHAM) and BIMM University have joined forces in a partnership that aims to nurture the next generation of creative professionals in the music industry.
The partnership, which is already in effect, will see all courses delivered at NHAM formally approved and awarded by BIMM University. This means that students of NHAM will graduate with a BIMM University qualification, opening up opportunities for them to work on projects and network with students from BIMM University.
David Rowe, pro vice-chancellor for music at BIMM University, made the additional statement that the partnership marks a new chapter for NHAM. BIMM University is proud to welcome NHAM into their family.
Shabs Jobanputra, the founder of NHAM, stated that the partnership will continue to deliver the hands-on, industry-led teaching that NHAM is known for. This approach, combined with BIMM University's recognized qualifications and resources, will better prepare students for careers in the creative industry.
The partnership will benefit the students who are shaping the future of the music industry, as they will have access to a wider range of opportunities and resources. Additionally, the partnership will enrich both NHAM and BIMM University, as they will be able to share knowledge and resources to the benefit of their students.
This partnership will start affecting new students from September 2025 onwards, with new NHAM students enrolling on BIMM University-approved programmes at that time. The partnership offers NHAM students a qualification that carries real weight in the industry, providing them with a solid foundation for their future careers.
