Celebrating the 1700th Anniversary of the Council of Nicaea: A Series of Ecumenical Events

In 2025, Christians from various traditions will come together to celebrate the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea. This historic gathering, held in 325, laid the foundation for the Nicene Creed, a fundamental statement of Christian faith that is still recited by Christians today.

The online salon, focused on the Nicene Creed, is being organized by the Department "Faith in Dialogue" of the Archbishop's General Vicariate Paderborn. This event will take place at An den Kapuzinern 5-7, 33098 Paderborn, Germany. The salon is open to anyone interested in engaging with the creed and is being held in cooperation with the Bildungshaus Liborianum and the Johann-Adam-Möhler-Institut für Ökumene Paderborn.
