Over 260 Nigerian Army Officers Sit Senior Staff Course Exam 2025
Over 260 Nigerian Army middle cadre officers are currently sitting the Senior Staff Course Qualifying Examination 2025 at the Nigerian Army Infantry Corps Centre in Jaji Military Cantonment. The examination, conducted by the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), covers eight subjects including tactics, low-intensity conflict, geopolitics, and military law. Maj.-Gen. Usman Yusuf, Commander, Infantry Corps, has emphasized the importance of this milestone for the officers' career progression and future responsibilities.
The examination is being held at the Ihejirika Auditorium and candidates are encouraged to perform well, with Maj.-Gen. Yusuf warning about the consequences of failure and the Nigerian Army's strict policies on examination malpractice. The top three candidates will receive Certificates of Excellence, Letters of Commendation, and cash gifts. According to Army Headquarters Policy, candidates have a maximum of three attempts to pass the examination, with a minimum score of 50 per cent in all subjects required to qualify for selection to the Armed Forces Command and Staff College.
