Park University Recognizes Outstanding Achievers for 2020-21 Academic Year
Park University celebrated the exceptional achievements and contributions of its students and faculty during the annual Honours Convocation held virtually on April 21, 2021. Ozoda Narzullaeva, an information and computer science/software development and cybersecurity major from Samarkand, Uzbekistan, and Henry Roehrich, an associate professor of management/marketing from Grand Forks, North Dakota, also received this prestigious award.
Jocelyn Clayton, an English and secondary education/English major from Burlington Junction, Missouri, was awarded the Outstanding Parkite Award at the Honours Convocation. She has also received the 2019 Toni Griggs Award and the 2020 Dr. Doris Howell Leadership Award, and has served as a student ambassador and a peer writing tutor.
Charles Troppito, adjunct instructor of management information systems, Mission, Kansas, received the Provost's Award for Teaching Excellence (for adjunct faculty). In the realm of computer science, Wen Hsin, Ph.D., professor of computer science, Kansas City, Missouri, received the J.L. Zwingle Award. Dmitry Gimon, Ph.D., associate professor of information systems and business analytics, Kansas City, Missouri, received the Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award.
Lastly, Linda Bell, lecturer of accounting, Liberty, Missouri, received the President's Award for Teaching Excellence (for full-time faculty).
