Recognition for Exceptional Achievements Granted
In a celebration filled with congratulations, music, and flowers, Sarah Quere, a former apprentice at Brillen Breker in Warburg, was honoured at a graduation ceremony held in the Garden Hall of the Orangery in Kassel on July 3, 2025.
Sarah Quere, recognised as an outstanding young talent in the field of optics, passed her journeyman's examination with flying colours. Her excellent examination results earned her multiple awards, including a certificate and a cash prize from the Hesse State Association of the Opticians' Craft, a thriller by optician and author Ann-Katrin Zellner, and the Azublick Award from the Zeiss company.
The Southwest German Association of Opticians and Optometrists (SWAV), which represents the interests of opticians in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, and Hesse, along with the Hesse State Association of the Opticians' Craft, congratulated Sarah Quere and the 26 other successful young opticians from Hesse who received their journeyman's certificates at the ceremony.
The SWAV, an organisation that provides services such as representation of professional political interests, advice and support in competition law proceedings, legal advice, coordination of journeyman's examinations, advice on new openings, takeovers, or closures of businesses, promotion of qualified training and further education, as well as marketing, press, and public relations work, was also present at the event.
