The dual study program offered by Kreissparkasse Saarpfalz and Fachhochschule Kaiserslautern at the Zweibrücken location presents an exciting opportunity for aspiring students with high potential. This program combines practical experience with academic studies, providing a comprehensive understanding of the banking and finance industry.

Requirements

To be eligible, applicants should have a good to very good high school diploma or Abitur, good language skills, and demonstrate high initiative, engagement, learning motivation, enjoyment in dealing with people, sales orientation, negotiation skills, and a friendly and confident appearance.

What is Learned

Throughout the 3.5-year program, students will learn various skills essential for a career in banking. This includes customer consulting and care, offering and processing financial investments, handling international business, taking on planning, organizational, control, and management tasks in bank-internal areas, and project work.

The theoretical part of the program takes place at the Zweibrücken campus of Fachhochschule Kaiserslautern, where students will study business, banking, and insurance topics. During the practical phases, students will get to know various departments of Kreissparkasse Saarpfalz, gaining hands-on experience in the industry.

Remuneration

Students will receive a monthly salary throughout the study period. The remuneration for the first year is 1,346 €, increasing to 1,408 € in the second year and 1,470 € in the third year. The package includes a 13th month's salary and 40 € in capital-forming benefits.

Certification and Degree

After 2.5 years, students will take an exam for banker (Bankkauffrau/Bankkaufmann). Upon completion of the 3.5-year program, students will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree.
