Schools in Horb concentrate efforts on locating lawbreakers (September 24th-26th)
The COACHING4FUTURE Program, an educational initiative focused on the MINT disciplines (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology), is set to take place at the Martin-Gerbert-Gymnasium in Horb am Neckar from September 24 to 26, 2025. The event is organised by Baden-Württemberg Foundation gGmbH and aims to help students decide if a technical career suits them and to spark their interest.
The program will offer an interactive MINT career orientation lecture, presented by chemist Cornelia Mattern, who will provide insights into various technical and scientific careers through practical experiments and technology exhibits. The event will also feature a forensics workshop, where students will solve a fictional murder case using forensic methods and learn about digitalization in forensics.
In addition to the workshop, the program includes an interactive lecture, a mobile tech exhibition, and experiment workshops. The topics covered in the lecture will include housing, mobility, medicine, and environmental protection, all explored through experiments and tech exhibits.
Editorial visits to the COACHING4FUTURE event are recommended and can be registered for in advance. To participate, please register with the press contact at least two days in advance, as the event is an internal school event.
