Sochi Honors Over 100 Educators for Achievements
Sochi's educators have been recognised for their dedication and achievements. Over 30 received certificates and appreciation from the mayor, while 9 were honoured by the Sochi City Council. Additionally, 28 teachers were recognised by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
Last year, a remarkable 400 Sochi educators participated in various professional competitions. The city celebrated 130 winners, prize-winners, and laureates. Among them, Sergey Anatolyevich was named 'Honored Mentor of Kuban' on Teacher's Day. In total, approximately 6000 educators work in Sochi's educational institutions, including 60 Merited Teachers of Russia and 120 Merited Teachers of Kuban.
The city also honoured 16 educators with the title 'Honored Worker of the Education Sector of Russia'. Badges like 'Loyal to the Profession', 'Honored Mentor', and 'Youth and Professionalism' were awarded to 19 workers. Notably, Irina Fomenko, a geography teacher, received the title of 'Merited Teacher of the Krasnodar Territory'. Furthermore, 12 teachers who prepared 'perfect scorers' in the Unified State Exam were recognised by the head of Sochi. Over 30 teachers who excelled in professional competitions also received awards.
Sochi's educators have been recognised for their hard work and achievements, with over 100 receiving various awards and titles. These honours reflect the high standards and dedication of the city's teaching community.
