Fancy a Math Challenge? Kazakhstani Schoolkids Can Compete in the Online Olympiad "MathJol - The Mathematical Path"!
Get ready for a numerical showdown! Yandex Search, hand-in-hand with the Federation of Sports Programming of Kazakhstan and proctoring system Oqylyq.kz, are organizing the "MathJol - The Mathematical Path" Online Mathematics Olympiad. This epic event invites school kids from all over the nation to put their school math skills to the test, compete against other participants, and display their capabilities - paving the way for potential careers in IT and artificial intelligence down the line.
The Olympiad will unfold from May 26 to 31, with tasks that cover themes in school math, with an emphasis on critical thinking. Each region's dates will be communicated to all MathJol contestants via registration.
From grade 1 up to 11, young minds are welcome to join this fascinating competition, with tasks tailored for each grade. It's free to participate; simply register on the website before May 24. To ensure a fair competition, the organizers will utilize the Oqylyq.kz proctoring system. Once the Olympiad wraps up, all participants will earn electronic certificates from the Federation of Sports Programming of Kazakhstan.
Adina Magavina, General Secretary of the Federation of Sports Programming of Kazakhstan, shared her thoughts, "We're advocating not just for IT popularity but also laying a firm foundation for mastering careers in this field. Math serves as the foundation. This Olympiad will let school kids measure and reinforce their core knowledge, paving their way to the realms of sports programming and artificial intelligence in the future."
