St. Louis in October: Packed with Arts, Culture, and Family Fun

St. Louis residents can look forward to a packed October filled with arts, culture, and family-friendly events. From non-scary Halloween celebrations to renowned performances, the city offers something for everyone.

Kicking off the month, the Missouri Botanical Garden hosts its 'Best of Missouri Market' from October 3 to 5. Over 150 vendors will showcase local produce, native plants, crafts, and handcrafted goods. Meanwhile, art enthusiasts can engage in conversation with museum patrons and curators at the 'See Art Together' event on October 3, held at both the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis and the Pulitzer Arts Foundation.

Music lovers have plenty to enjoy. Japanese Breakfast takes the stage at The Pageant on October 6 as part of their Melancholy Tour. Later in the month, comedy fans can catch Nikki Glaser at the Fox Theatre on October 24 and 25, and Adam Sandler at the Enterprise Center on October 17. For a unique musical experience, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra joins forces with the Chuck Berry Estate for the Chuck Berry's Birthday Bash at Powell Hall on October 17 and 18.

Theatre-goers can catch 'The Woman in Black' at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis from October 8 to 26, while families can enjoy the non-scary Boo at the Zoo celebration at the Saint Louis Zoo from October 16 to 30.

The Grove hosts its annual Grove Fest on October 4, shutting down Manchester Avenue for local vendors and performances. Lastly, runners and their furry friends can participate in the Great GO! St. Louis Halloween Race in Eureka on October 18 and 19, featuring various running events and a Great PUPkin Run for costumed pups.
