Tesla to Host 'Las Megas' Event on September 8, Anticipated Unveiling of Megapack

Tesla Energy, the energy subsidiary of Tesla, Inc., is set to reveal its next-generation Megapack battery product at the "Las Megas" event in Las Vegas on September 8, 2025. The event, which will be streamed live, has generated a significant amount of anticipation, as all eyes are on Tesla's energy division to see what's next.

The Megapack, Tesla's utility-grade energy storage solution designed for large-scale projects, has quietly become one of the company's most impactful products. Last month, Tesla Megapacks were deployed in Australia's Collie Battery Energy Storage System, a 2.2 GWh installation. Recently, Tesla secured a record $2.7 billion order from Georgia Power for Megapacks.

The next-generation Megapack could bring major improvements in capacity, efficiency, or software integration. Any upgrade to the Megapack will likely play a significant role in Tesla's broader energy strategy, a key component of the company's recently unveiled Master Plan Part 4.

Influencers and Tesla community insiders have been invited to attend the launch. One such attendee is Tesla investor Sawyer Merritt, who announced his plans to be present at the event. The event will take place at 5 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT and will be streamed live on Tesla's official X account (@tesla).

The technology has become a staple of battery storage projects worldwide, and the unveiling of a new Megapack product could mark a significant leap forward in Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. Stay tuned for updates from the "Las Megas" event next week!
