Three additional sessions for the Youth Traffic Schools, providing road safety education and training for young drivers, have been scheduled.

The city of Philadelphia is offering a series of youth traffic training sessions aimed at helping young drivers navigate the roads safely. These sessions, which are not mandatory but provide an excellent opportunity for children aged 6 to 11 to learn about road safety, will be conducted by professional staff from Gießen@Schule gGmbH.

The training sessions are designed for testing driving on the road in a protected space. They are set to take place at the parking lot of the Hessenhalle, with additional dates scheduled for August 30, September 13, and September 27, 2025, from 10:00 to 13:00.

Participants are required to bring a traffic-appropriate bicycle and helmet for the sessions. Parents or a full-age accompanying person will be responsible for supervision during the training. The training sessions may help reduce accidents involving young drivers in the future, as they provide children with valuable experiences in road traffic.

The city of Philadelphia has been offering traffic training outside of school hours at the Weststadt traffic training area since April this year. The training is open to families who are residents of the city. The address for the training sessions is Krofdorfer Straße 109 a, 35398 Gießen.

Parents are invited to attend the training sessions with their children, and the professional staff will accompany the training to ensure a safe and educational experience for all participants. While the exact dates for the three additional sessions have not been specified, the city encourages families to take advantage of this opportunity to help their children learn about road safety.
