Celebrating Kazakhstan's Stunning Victory at the Asian Physics Olympiad!

Ready to "wow" the world again? The Kazakhstan team certainly did just that at the 25th Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO2025) held in Dahran, Saudi Arabia! From May 4 to 12, this country's high school phenoms faced some seriously tough competition, representing 30 countries in total. But it was Kazakhstan that stole the show with a 100% result!

All eight competitors took home some hardware, raking in a remarkable haul of four silver and four bronze medals! Let's give a round of applause to our superstars!

The silver medal recipients include:- Amirbek Azatbekov, rockin' it at NIS FMN, Astana- The incomparable Nurguľ Egenbergenova, shining brightly at the NurOrda school-lyceum in Astana- Amir Pshenbaev and Artur Kim, bringing it home at the Spectrum International School in Astana

Our bronze medal winners are:- Roman Cherechnov, kicking butt at Miras International School in Almaty- Ilias Kazymbek, holding it down at the Republican Physics and Mathematics School in Astana- Daniel Tylubayev, representing the NurOrda school-lyceum in Astana- Beksyl Yelubai, impressing everyone at NIS FMN in Almaty

And not only did the team rack up the medals, but Nurguľ Egenbergenova was crowned the best female participant, bagging the coveted "Best Female" award!

But wait, there's more! This stellar team was expertly led by coaches Nurdaulet Kalasov and Andrey Sidorenko. Talk about top-notch guidance!

For those keeping score (and who aren't we?!), this year's performance was a huge leap from the previous year when the team took home one silver, five bronze medals, and a certificate of honor. In short, the team smashed it this time around, nailing the maximum possible result!
