Her company, seeing the potential benefits for the team's future web and software experiences, enthusiastically backed her.

Timmera Lindsay, Senior Designer at Schier 🎉Hey there! I'm Timmera Lindsay, a design dynamo originally born in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri. My goal is to sail past Senior Graphic Designer duties at Schier and set sail for the distant shore of UI Design. Design's my jam, and I'm always on the hunt for fresh ways to learn and hone my skills.

So, what sent you on this product design voyage?

With a graphic design degree in my pocket from 2007's MSU graduation ceremony, I've garnered a broad range of design experience in print and web realms. It's all about creating memorable experiences for clients, and now nurturing my company's web and application experiences.

A developer in my squad encouraged me to enroll in Dribbble's Certified Product Design Course. He thought it'd be more my speed and career-path- enhancing. When I mentioned it'd expand my abilities and bolster the team in future web and software updates, it was a big "Yes" from them.

Fill us in on your course experience. What really struck a chord with you?

My mentor Nelio Barros was the bomb. He cheered us on, pushing us to refine our work. He was always there for us, even jet-setting around the world and teleporting between time zones! We've stayed connected on LinkedIn, and I can't wait to share my designs with him.

Creating an app from scratch was a massive endeavor. But it taught me where my golden talents lie, which areas I should polish, and mastering collaborative design with my teammates.
