University of Passau Offers Dual Study Programs in Public Admin & Cybersecurity
The University of Passau has opened applications for two esteemed dual study programs. The B.A. Public Administration in Dessau-Roßlau and the Digital Administration and Cyber Security (D.A.C.S.) program for the winter semester 2025/2026. Both programs offer unique opportunities for students seeking careers in public administration and digital governance.
The B.A. Public Administration program, with a deadline of 31.10.2024, combines theoretical learning with practical internships at the German Environment Agency and in municipal areas. Upon graduation, students earn a double degree in Bachelor of Arts and qualify for the higher general administrative service. They specialize in areas such as Ordnungsrecht, Public Building and Environmental Law, Human Resource Development and Planning, and Digitalization in Public Administration, contributing to various central administration areas and environmental laws.
The D.A.C.S. program, with a deadline of 16.03.2025, focuses on digital administration and cybersecurity. Students are trained in topics like E-Government, IT Forensics, IT Project Management, Administrative Law, IT Security Management, Network and System Administration, Data Protection, and Risk Management.
