Yakutsk Honors Additional Education Workers at Grand Festival

Yakutsk celebrated its additional education workers with a grand festival, marking the Day of the Worker in Additional Education. Four representatives from local institutions were finalists in the 'Heart for Children-2025' competition, and several educators received prestigious awards and recognition.

The festival, themed 'Sport, Beauty, and Talent', was opened by Yevgeny Grigoryev, the head of Yakutsk, and Maria Petrova, the head of the city's department of education. Grigoryev emphasized the significance of additional education in nurturing well-rounded children and future citizens.

Ivan Ivanov, a senior teacher at the Center for Technical Creativity, was awarded the 'Hope of Yakutia' badge. This accolade, presented by Anna Petrova, recognized Ivanov's exceptional contributions to the field. Meanwhile, Marianne Gerasimova, a teacher at the Palace of Children's Creativity, was honored with the 'Honored Mentor in Education' badge.

Maria Petrova praised the role of additional education teachers in creating a friendly, cozy, and talent-discovering learning environment. In recognition of their dedication, many educators received honorary diplomas and letters of thanks from the District Administration. Anita Sleptsova, Nadia Popova, and Natalia Kolmogorova were awarded certificates for a 2025 educational-methodical internship.

The 'Festival of Sport, Beauty, and Talent' in Yakutsk served as a testament to the city's commitment to its additional education sector. The awards and recognition bestowed upon educators reflect the high regard in which they are held, and the positive impact they have on the children of Yakutsk.
